The valve stem works as advertised. It is a drop-in replacement. It didn't need any post-install adjustments. AE's price was the best, OEM or aftermarket.
If your bubbler is rather old, I would suggest using a Dremel with a cup wire brush at low speed to clean out the seat area and a wheel wire brush to clean the rest. It can get calcified over the years.

New Valve Stem for 40 year old Oasis

Our church has a 40 year old Oasis Water Fountain Model DP14M. We got 40 good years from the unit but recently when turning the handle the valve stem would just spin around with no water. The original valve stem part number no longer existed but there was a replacement part number 013059-005 which I ordered. Surprisingly the old valve stem came off rather easily. The new replacement valve stem fit perfectly and worked. I would also recommend checking the drain "U" trap as ours was full of gunk after all those years. Other plumbing stores had the same product but AE Supply's price was the best.
